New collection: Modern Paradise

Modern, mid-century architecture is placed in a world with elements of a different scale.
The works have a dreamy atmosphere and the juxtaposition of all of the contrasting elements create surprising and unique paintings.
The colors that where used in the Modern Paradise series are petrol blue, white, black and light brown.

New collection: Urban Nature

The Urban Nature paintings are inspired by the still life works of Matisse.

The plants represent the abundance, the innocence and the organic world. The architecture represent man-made, linear structures.
We see a cultivated plant, but at the same time it is overgrowing the maquette sized architecture. Nature and architecture are playing a game of power. Do the maquettes and geometrical patterns follow the laws of nature or is it the other way around? Does the plant take shape of the linear structures?
